In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and butter. Stir to combine. Transfer the mixture to the pan & then press. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then allow to cool while you prepare the rest of the cheesecake.
Add the cream cheese and brown sugar to the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Add in the eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and salt. Beat again until combined, an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
