Place the butterflied chicken in a large bowl and add onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, kosher salt, and pepper. Then, add lemon juice, oil, and maple syrup. Mix to evenly coat and create a marinade.
Cover the chicken with an airtight lid or plastic wrap and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. If you are in a rush, you can marinate for a minimum of one hour.
After 5 minutes, flip the chicken breasts and cook for another 5 minutes on the remaining side. The meat is done when the internal temperature of the chicken reads 165 degrees F.
