Mango Mojito

Mango Mojitos are going to be your go-to cocktails in the heat of summer. It's made with fresh mango, mango juice, and a few other staple ingredients. All you need is 10 minutes and you can be sipping on this cool cocktail in no time.

Ingredients

  • 4 large fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ cup roughly chopped ripe mango
  • ½ ounce agave or simple syrup (1 tablespoon)
  • ice cubes
  • 2 ounces white rum (4 tablespoons)
  • 2 ounces mango juice from puree (4 tablespoons) SEE NOTES
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice (2 tablespoons or about 1 lime)
  • sparkling water or club soda
  • extra lime, mint, and mango for garnish

Instructions

  • Add mint, mango, and agave to a cocktail shaker. Muddle lightly until the mint starts to soften and the mango is smashed.
  • Add ice to fill about half the shaker. Pour in rum, mango juice, and lime juice. Shake vigorously to incorporate all the flavors together.
  • Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda or sparkling water.
  • Garnish with a slice of lime, fresh mint, and a fresh mango wedge.

Notes

  1. Shop for "mango juice from puree" with no added sugar. The ingredients should include just mango juice from puree and concentrate. I used RW Knudsen brand.
  2. Increase the number of servings for the measurements to make multiple drinks.
