Blueberry Vodka Lemonade is sweet, slightly tart, and infused with plenty of blueberry flavor. It's made with tons of freshly squeezed lemon juice and lightly sweetened with a homemade blueberry simple syrup.
Add ice to a pitcher. Stir vodka, lemon juice, and blueberry simple syrup in the pitcher to mix together.
Add ¼ cup of fresh blueberries to each glass. Muddle blueberries until they are slightly mashed.
Add ice to each glass on top of the blueberries, then pour blueberry vodka lemonade on top. Top with a splash of sparkling water, if desired. Stir to combine.
Makes 6 to 8 servings. See notes if you're only making 1 serving.
Notes
Fresh lemons add a bright flavor to the lemonade. However, if you're short on time, you can use a store-bought lemonade. Simply adjust the simple syrup to taste, depending on desired sweetness.
You can also use frozen blueberries in place of the ice.
For an individual (1 serving) cocktail: Add blueberries to a glass. Muddle until they're lightly mashed. Top with ice. Add 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) blueberry vodka, 3 ounces (6 tablespoons, about 2 lemons) fresh lemon juice, 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) blueberry simple syrup to the glass. Add a splash of sparkling water. Stir to combine.
