  • 3 lemons
  • 3 peaches soft and ripe
  • 2 tablespoon agave
  • 2 cups water
  • 1.5 oz whiskey per drink optional

  • Juice all 3 lemons into a glass pitcher
  • Cut peaches into 1 inch cubes and place them in a metal cocktail shaker or bowl. Mash peaches in batches with a muddler or potato masher until they're a thick pureed consistency
  • Add the mashed peaches to the lemon juice in the pitcher (use a strainer for a smooth no-pulp consistency)
  • Add agave and water, then stir
  • Adjust the lemon, agave, and water to your taste (I like a slightly sweet, slightly tart balance of flavors)
  • Place ice in 6 cups
  • If using whiskey, add 1.5 ounces (1 shot) to each drink, pour the lemonade into each glass and stir to combine

This recipe can be enjoyed as a kid-friendly lemonade or kicked up a notch with your favorite alcohol. I used whiskey, but feel free to add your favorite vodka or tequila.
