Turn Halloween candy into festive Halloween Candy Bark! With just a few simple ingredients and about 30 minutes of prep time, you can make this easy Halloween recipe for all of your celebrations this fall.
Chop the semi sweet chocolate and white chocolate bars. Place them in separate, microwave safe bowls. Slice each of the candy bars and place them in separate bowls as well.
Melt the semi sweet chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Immediately after, melt the white chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the semi sweet chocolate over the parchment in a rectangular shape.
Drizzle the melted white chocolate over top. You can leave it as is, or drag a toothpick through the white chocolate to make designs, like a spiderweb.
Working quickly, top the melted chocolate with the candy bars, m&ms, candy eyes, and candy bones, sprinkling them throughout.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to set for about 15 minutes.
Once set, cut the Halloween bark into pieces or use your hands to break it.
Notes
Use a sharp knife for clean cuts of the candy bars and chocolate bark.
When melting the chocolate, microwave just until some chunks remain in the bowl. Then, stir the rest of the way until the chocolate is smooth. If you over-heat the chocolate, it will seize up instead of getting smooth and glossy.
